Screen Printing
When you need bold, durable colour on hundreds or thousands of garments, screen printing is still the industry standard. At Elusiv, we run screen print production at scale from our Leicester facility - built for brands, teams, and retailers who need consistent quality across large runs, not just one-off samples.
Why Screen Printing
Screen printing pushes ink through a mesh stencil onto the garment, one colour at a time. It's the go-to method when you want:
-
Vivid, opaque colour - including whites on dark garments and neon or metallic finishes
-
Long-lasting durability - screen prints wash and wear better than most other methods over the life of a garment
-
Cost efficiency at volume - the more units you print, the lower your per-garment cost, because setup cost is spread across the run
-
Precise colour matching - every ink is mixed and matched to Pantone references, so your brand colour is exact every time

Guide
File types:
Vector files preferred - AI, EPS, or PDF (outlined fonts, no live text)

CMYK, with exact Pantone (PMS) references for each spot colour
Resolution:
If using a raster element within a vector file, minimum 300dpi at print size.

Each colour should be on its own layer where possible - this speeds up screen-making

Number of colours:
Let us know your colour count upfront - this affects both price and lead time (each colour = one screen)
FAQs
What's your minimum order quantity for screen printing?
Because of the setup cost per screen, screen printing is most cost-effective from around 100+ units per design - for smaller runs, DTF or DTG may work out better value.
Can you match my exact brand colour?
Yes - we mix inks to Pantone references, so your brand colour is consistent across every run, no matter how far apart in time.
How long does production take?
Turnaround depends on order volume and colour count - get in touch with your artwork and quantities for an accurate lead time.
